about the host
Addi Christensen is a convert to Catholicism, coming from a Lutheran background. She had a conversion of heart to the fullness of truth in the Catholic faith in 2012, but was not received into the Church till July 28th, 2018 - the first feast day of her confirmation saint, Bl. Father Stanley Rother. As a young adult, Addi found deep consolation from hearing other testimonies of conversion to the Catholic Church. It wasn't until September 8th 2025, on the feast day of The Nativity of The Blessed Virgin Mary that Voices of Conversion released it's first episode.
In the coming months, the podcast has resulted in over 8k weekly listeners and is now in the top 1% of all podcasts. The biggest consolation from Voices of Conversion is the fruit of conversions, from the seeds planted with the show - there have already been multiple people who are joining the Church as a result of the stories aired on the show.
Mrs. Christensen holds a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, and spent several years post-graduation working at pregnancy resource centers as a client advocate - assisting mothers facing unplanned pregnancies.
Now, she devotes her time to this apostolate and raising her domestic church, with her supportive and encouraging husband.
As Revelation 12:11 says:
"But they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony,
for they did not cling to life even in the face of death."
Addi truly believes in the power of our testimonies and the impact they leave on those who may not have a support system when converting to Catholicism. Please keep this apostolate in your prayers. Pax Christi.
